Justice Ross | Fair Work Commission

The Honourable Iain James Kerr Ross AO was appointed President of the Fair Work Commission on 1 March 2012. He succeeded Geoffrey Michael Giudice.

Justice Ross has been an additional judge to the Supreme Court of the Australian Capital Territory since 2013.

In 2005, his Honour was appointed as an Officer of the Order of Australia.

Previously, his Honour was a judge of the Victorian Supreme Court (2009-12) and President of the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (2010-12), judge of the Victorian County Court (2007-09), Vice-President of the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (2007-09) and Vice President of the Australian Industrial Relations Commission (1994-2006).

His Honour holds a Bachelor of Economics, Master of Laws, Graduate Diploma of Law and Doctorate of Philosophy from the University of Sydney and a Masters of Business Administration and Honorary Doctorate of Laws from Monash University.
