His Honour Judge Graeme Henson was appointed Chief Magistrate of the NSW Local Court in 2006 and a District Court Judge in a dual commission in 2010. He is an official member of the NSW Judicial Commission. He has served as a NSW Magistrate since 1988.

His Honour joined the legal profession in 1980 as a solicitor then as a barrister. Immediately before becoming a Magistrate he was a Solicitor for Public Prosecutions (1986-88).
